Before launching Velney Task Force 1, Josu’e served as a Fire Lieutenant/EMT in Somerville, where he gained firsthand experience in emergency response, hazard mitigation, and safety management—skills that directly strengthen his approach to demolition and clean-out operations.

A United States Marine Corps veteran with three combat deployments, Josu’e brings unmatched discipline, problem-solving ability, and team leadership to every job site. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology, graduating Cum Laude, and maintains an extensive list of industry credentials, including an OSHA 30 certification, an unrestricted construction supervisor license, PHIUS builder certification (CPHB), and a home improvement contractor license. Josu’e is also a proud member of the National Demolition Association (NDA), staying current with best practices, safety standards, and emerging technologies in the demolition industry.

Josu’e has been widely recognized for his professional achievements, earning honors such as the 2022 Boston Business Journal “40 Under 40,” a 2022 Governor’s Citation, the 2023 Wentworth Institute of Technology Alumni Entrepreneurship Award, and the 2024 Haitian American Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Born in Colombia, Lorena Rodriguez is a dynamic and highly skilled Executive Assistant with a wealth of experience managing complex projects, coordinating logistics, and providing exceptional
administrative support. Renowned for her ability to streamline processes and enhance
operational efficiency, she has consistently delivered outstanding results in high-pressure
environments.

Her expertise includes travel arrangements, project coordination, client
communications, and multitasking with a keen eye for detail.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, she excels in problem-solving and time management, ensuring the seamless execution of executive responsibilities. Currently serving as Velney’s
